Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Moon Oni. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, fulfilled, shipped, tracked, and delivered.

Most Moon Oni products are printed or prepared after an order is placed. Because our items are made to order, processing time is required before the package is transferred to the shipping carrier.

Order Processing

Most orders require approximately 1–3 business days for production and fulfillment before shipment.

Business days generally exclude weekends and public holidays.

Processing may take longer during:

  • Major product launches
  • Holiday periods
  • High order volume
  • Product availability issues
  • Quality-control reviews
  • Address-verification or payment issues
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery estimates depend on:

  • Destination
  • Product availability
  • Fulfillment location
  • Shipping method
  • Carrier operations
  • Customs processing
  • The accuracy of the shipping address

Typical estimated delivery times are:

United States

Approximately 5–10 business days from the date the order is placed.

International orders

Approximately 10–20 business days from the date the order is placed.

These timeframes include estimated production and shipping time and are provided as general guidance only.

Tapstitch states that its shipping estimates vary by method and do not include production time. Its current estimates include an average of approximately 10 days for Special Line shipping, with most shipments arriving within 15 days. These estimates are not guarantees.

The estimated delivery range shown during checkout should be treated as the most relevant estimate for your specific order.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout according to factors such as:

  • Delivery address
  • Product type
  • Package weight
  • Quantity
  • Fulfillment location
  • Available shipping method

The shipping rate displayed and accepted during checkout applies to the order unless the order is later changed at the customer’s request.

Shopify shipping profiles determine which shipping rates and fulfillment locations apply to products in an order.

Free Shipping

Moon Oni currently offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders of $125 or more.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • The qualifying subtotal is calculated after applicable product discounts.
  • Taxes, duties, and other fees do not count toward the minimum.
  • The promotion applies only to eligible shipping destinations and methods.
  • Expedited shipping might not qualify.
  • The offer may be modified, suspended, or discontinued.

The final shipping charge displayed at checkout controls the transaction.

Split Shipments

Products in the same order may be produced at different fulfillment facilities or become ready at different times.

As a result:

  • Items may arrive in separate packages.
  • Packages may have different tracking numbers.
  • One package may arrive before another.
  • You will not be charged additional shipping after checkout solely because we divide an order into multiple shipments.

Please review all tracking emails before reporting an item as missing.

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

After your order ships, you should receive a shipping-confirmation email containing a tracking number or tracking link.

Tracking information may take 24–72 hours to begin updating after a shipping label is created.

You can track the shipment using:

  • The link in your shipping-confirmation email
  • Your Moon Oni order-status page
  • The carrier’s tracking website
  • Our Track Your Order page, when available

Tapstitch confirms that shipped orders can be followed using the provided tracking number.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation after the estimated processing period, contact us through our Contact Us page.

Accurate Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate:

  • Recipient name
  • Street address
  • Apartment, suite, or unit number
  • City
  • State or province
  • Postal code
  • Country
  • Email address
  • Telephone number

Review this information carefully before completing checkout.

Moon Oni is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Address Changes

Contact us immediately if you need to correct your shipping address.

Address changes are not guaranteed after an order has:

  • Entered production
  • Been fulfilled
  • Received a shipping label
  • Been transferred to the carrier

If the carrier permits an address correction or redirection, the customer may be responsible for any related fee.

Undeliverable or Returned Packages

A shipment may be returned because of:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address
  • Failure to collect the package
  • Delivery refusal
  • An inaccessible location
  • Unpaid customs charges
  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

If the package is returned, contact Moon Oni.

The customer may be required to pay new shipping charges before the order can be resent. Tapstitch states that new shipping charges can apply when packages are returned because they were unclaimed, refused, or otherwise returned to the sender.

Original shipping charges might not be refundable when the return was caused by information or conduct attributable to the customer.

Shipping Delays

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur because of:

  • Carrier disruptions
  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Customs inspections
  • Labor disruptions
  • Local holidays
  • High seasonal volume
  • Security inspections
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Tapstitch notes that shipping estimates exclude local holidays and may be affected by customs clearance and incorrect address or contact information.

A delayed package does not automatically qualify for a refund while it remains in transit.

Contact us when tracking has not updated for an extended period, and we will review the shipment with the fulfillment provider or carrier.

Lost Packages

A package may be considered lost only after the carrier or fulfillment provider completes the applicable investigation.

When tracking has stopped updating:

  1. Verify the delivery address.
  2. Check the carrier’s tracking page.
  3. Contact the carrier when appropriate.
  4. Contact Moon Oni with your order number and tracking number.

We may ask you to wait until the carrier’s investigation window has passed.

When a package is confirmed lost in transit, Moon Oni will review the order for an appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Replacement
  • Reshipment
  • Refund

The available resolution depends on the carrier investigation, fulfillment-provider claim, product availability, and applicable law.

Packages Marked as Delivered

When tracking says that a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it:

  1. Check the mailbox, entrance, porch, side doors, and other delivery areas.
  2. Ask household members, neighbors, building staff, or reception.
  3. Wait until the end of the next business day because some carrier scans may appear before final placement.
  4. Contact the carrier directly.
  5. Contact Moon Oni with your order and tracking details.

We will assist with reviewing the situation, but we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund for a package confirmed as delivered to the correct address.

This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Damaged Packages or Products

If an item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, contact Moon Oni within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • A clear photograph of the full item
  • Close-up photographs of the damage or defect
  • A photograph of the shipping package
  • A photograph of the shipping label

Do not discard the product or packaging until the claim has been reviewed.

Approved claims will be handled according to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

International Shipping

Moon Oni ships to eligible international destinations shown at checkout.

Not every product or shipping method is available in every country.

International orders may take longer because of:

  • Customs processing
  • Import inspections
  • Local carrier transfer
  • Remote delivery areas
  • Local holidays
  • Country-specific restrictions

Customers are responsible for confirming that the products they order can legally be imported into their country.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Customs duties
  • Value-added tax
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Handling charges
  • Other government fees

When these charges are not collected during checkout, they are generally the customer’s responsibility.

Moon Oni does not control the amount charged by customs authorities and cannot predict every fee.

Refusing a package because of customs charges may result in:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Reshipment costs
  • Non-refundable original shipping charges
  • A refund reduced by unrecoverable costs, where legally permitted

Customs rules vary by destination, and Shopify recommends reviewing applicable official customs or tax guidance when selling internationally.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order.

Because products may enter production shortly after payment is confirmed, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellation after submission.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Multiple Products and Fulfillment Locations

Some products or variants may be produced at different facilities.

The selected fulfillment location may depend on:

  • Product availability
  • Size or color
  • Destination
  • Production capacity
  • Shipping method
  • Inventory or manufacturing limitations

Moon Oni does not guarantee that every U.S. order will be produced in the United States or that every product in an order will ship from the same facility.

Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order when:

  • Shipping is unavailable to the destination
  • The address cannot be verified
  • The product is restricted in the destination country
  • Carrier service is unavailable
  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected
  • Fulfillment is not reasonably possible

If we cancel an order for one of these reasons after payment is collected, we will refund the affected item or order.

Please do not contact Tapstitch directly about a Moon Oni retail order. Moon Oni is responsible for communicating with its fulfillment provider on your behalf.

The policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order, subject to applicable law.
